Back to the Grinding Stone

Had a productive May taking all but Fri and Sat off. I got some much needed work done around my home and some more molds gone through for the store. Got some new pieces poured and on the floor I posted on the Facebook page under shop tab. My little guy Corbin has started baseball and a cooking class for the summer and he and Amelia have started summer reading program. Amelia and Quinten spent the last two weeks of May with Dad at his house so I could get more done and not have everyone pulling stuff out as I tried to get rid of it. They like Dad's house because he lives more "in town" and here we are in the country so lack of friends to play with unless we intentionally set up "play Dates". SO anyway, it was productive but now I'm ready to get moving with summer and parties and camps and lots of fun!!

We scheduled Summer Art Camp for this week (June 6-9) but unfortunately had no sign ups so it's cancelled but no worries, we will try again in July or August and hopefully have registrations then being later in the summer and hopefully done with baseball. We have Red, White, and Blue camp planned for June 21st 1-3, have Daddy and Me day June 17th where you paint with Dad and get 10% off, July 6th 1-3 we are planning Science camp, & August 2nd 1-3 we have Mini art Camp planned where we will be painting a miniature piece of pottery. We know there are several activities going on in the summer but we do hope to get some participation too for those who like to be crafty and creative. Good thing is we have crafts all planned out for summer camp to be rescheduled.

We are working on getting more pieces poured and have several that we have run out of as they seem to be popular pieces. We have so many molds it's hard to get through them all and there are only so many shelves to display them on. If you are interested in a certain piece or type of piece let us know cos we may find it and be able to pour something.

We are filling up our calendar with Birthday Bashes already. We offer 2 packages for birthday's. You can pour a mold of several different pieces we have about 4-6" tall and then paint one already fired. This package is $15 per participant and have to have minimum of 5. The other is the host/ess chooses a price point and the participants choose a piece up to that amount to paint. There is one studio fee of $3 for the group and the birthday person gets 30% off their piece. This is the most popular package. You can bring in food/drink but I advise to have covered drinks or not to bring out til done painting. We have had people bring in a light lunch with sandwiches, chips, fruit and cake and others just brought in cupcakes. We do our best to accommodate and are here to help celebrate your birthday. We have 3 party tables, each fit 6-8 people. These same party packages can be used for adults!!

Adult parties: Baby Shower or Bridal Shower. Everyone paints a piece they choose for the Bride or Mom to Be and that is their gift to them or just paint a piece for themselves but enjoy the time and food and even games while you paint. We can also do instructional classes as are popular done on Canvas but on pottery instead. Celebrate your own birthday with friends painting or Girls/Guys night and BYOB to enjoy while you paint. Company parties, Sororities, Clubs, Groups, or just for friends.

So while I'm back at the grinding stone, how about you take time off and come in and Get Your Paint On with friends, co workers or who ever and get Creative!!
